Navigating the UCA Online Application Form: A Step-by-Step User's Guide

Dear Applicant,

This User's Guide has been designed to help you complete the UCA Online Application Form for the University of Central Asia.

Some Advice

  1. To open our UCA Online Application Form, we recommend using Internet Explorer for best results. You may also use Firefox or Google Chrome browsers.
  2. We recommend that you review the admission requirements before you complete the online application.
  3. If you have already registered in online application, skip step 1.

Step 1: Account Registration

  1. Visit the UCA Online Application Form website
  2. This will take you to the login page. Click the "New User" link to register for an account, as shown in Figure 1.
  1. Create your account by entering your personal email address and password as requested.
  2. Your password must have at least 7 characters including one special character (@, #, $, %) and one number: (e.g. Bishkek@12).
  3. When you click "Register" you will receive a registration confirmation/verification email at the email address you have provided. If you do not receive a confirmation/verification email, please check your Spam/Junk folder.
  1. Go to your confirmation/verification email and click on the link provided. This will take you to the login screen (see Figure 1).
  2. Enter your email address and password. This is the same email address and password that you created in Figure 2. Click "Login".

NOTE

The personal email address should be the one you will use throughout the admission process.

Create only one account using only one email address.

If your registration confirmation/verification email is not received within a few hours, you may contact at apply@ucentralasia.org for assistance.

Step 2: Creating your Personal Page

  1. After successfully logging into your account, the following pages (see Figures 3a and 3b) will open:
  1. Complete the required personal details on the page to create an application, as shown in Figure 3b.

If the name of your city does not appear in City/Town look-up, enter city name in "City/Town Name" box.

When you click "Save" you will move on to the next page.

  1. The New Application page allows you to select the programme for which you are applying, including the country where the programme will be offered.

After choosing your programme, click the "Create Application" button and the system will show a confirmation message. See Figure 4 above.

Only if you are sure about your choice, click "Yes" to continue.

NOTE

An application once created cannot be deleted.


On the next page, you will define your second choice and then click "Save & Next".

  1. After selecting your 2nd Choice, the system will take you to the next set of pages where you will be required to enter related information.

Step I: Academic Qualification

On this page (Figure 6), you must enter all academic qualifications, one at a time. For example:

  • Start with Grade 11 (e.g. Attestat etc.) in the section where it reads Certificate/degree.
  • Enter the name of the Institution from where you obtained this qualification.
  • Enter the name of the country in which this qualification was completed.
  • Enter the year of completion.
  • Enter the grades for English and maths.

If you are awaiting final grades, you must click the "Results Awaited" box.

After you complete a ‘qualification', if you have further qualifications to input, click on "Save & Add New Qualification". When you do this, a grid will appear at the bottom of the page. You must check the grid at the bottom to ensure accuracy of your information.

When you have completed adding all your qualifications, click on "Save & Next".

The system will take you to the next screen automatically.


Step II: Enter your other educational courses:

You can enter up to three additional educational courses. If you do not have any, just click "Save & Next" to move to the next page.

After you complete ‘other educational courses', if this pertains to you, click on "Save & Add New". When you do this, a grid will appear at the bottom of the page. You must check the grid at the bottom to ensure accuracy of your information.

When you have completed adding all your other educational courses, click on "Save & Next".

The system will take you to the next page automatically.


Step III: Enter your Extracurricular activities:

You can enter up to three extracurricular activities. If you do not have any, just click "Save & Next" to move to the next page.

After you complete ‘extra-curricular activities', if you have further extra-curricular activities to input, click on "Save & Add New". When you do this, a grid will appear at the bottom of the page. You must check the grid at the bottom to ensure accuracy of your information.

When you have completed inputting all your extra-curricular activities, click on "Save & Next".

The system will take you to the next screen automatically.


Step IV: Enter Parent/Guardian Information

You can enter up to two individuals on the Parent/Guardian information page.

After you complete ‘Parent/Guardian Information', if you have further information to input, click on "Save & Add New". When you do this, a grid will appear at the bottom of the page. You must check the grid at the bottom to ensure accuracy of your information.

When you have completed adding all your Parent/Guardian Information, click on "Save & Next".

The system will take you to the next screen automatically.


Step V: Enter Participation Summary

When you have selected the list of all programmes which you have participated in, and other universities in which you would like to attend, please click "Save & Next".

The system will take you to the next screen automatically.


Step VI: Indicate where you will write the UCA Admissions Test, how you learnt about UCA and Accept Terms & Conditions.

Submission Guidelines

Before final submission of your UCA Application form, information can be updated on the online application. You can only make required changes or add additional information before you submit your final application.

Before "Submitting" your application, please review all the information that has been entered in the earlier pages.

After reviewing all the information, click "Save".

Click the "Submit" button. After submission you will receive an application confirmation email with a copy of your application form attached.
