Sitora worked for three years as a Communications Officer with the Aga Khan Development Network and the Ismaili Centre in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Prior to that, Sitora conducted research on vocational training in Tajikistan with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection. She has also taught business at the Technological University of Tajikistan and participated in a three- month international assignment in China. Sitora has over seven years of working experience with government and non-governmental organisations in her native Tajikistan. She has also worked as Head of the Secretariat Development Coordination Council Tajikistan and recently helped to establish the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy’s Central Asia and the Caucasus Regional Alumni Chapter where she serves as Vice-President.
