Farrukh’s research is being conducted under a partnership between UCA and the Center for Development and Environment at the University of Bern within the framework of the National Centre of Competence in Research North-South. The conceptual framework of the study is provided by the research project on Sustainable Land Use Systems for Enhancing Food Security and Mitigating Climate Change in Semi-Arid to Sub-Humid Agricultural Environments. Previously he worked for UN Tajikistan as a Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator (2007-2009) and UN Coordination Assistant (2004-2007).
