Vasila taught chemistry at the A. Sino Medical University and worked as a laboratory assistant at the V.I. Nikitin Institute of Chemistry at the Republic of Tajikistan Academy of Scienceswhere she investigated and published articles on imidazo-thiadiazol derivatives and essential oils. Her research interests include the essential oil composition of Mentha longifolia from wild populations growing in Tajikistan and geochronology with specific reference to cosmogenic isotopes dating. She is a member of the International Association for Mathematical Geosciences - Student Chapter in Freiberg, Germany.
