UCA researchers speak at Lenses, Prisms and Mirrors: Zooming, Interpreting and Reflecting in Humanities and Social Sciences in Central Asia conference

On 4 May 2013, the University of Central Asia Senior Research Fellows Dr Elmira Kuchumkulova and Dr Duishon Shamatov and Research Programme Manager, Dr David Gullette will present at the ‘Lenses, Prisms and Mirrors: Zooming, Interpreting and Reflecting in Humanities and Social Sciences in Central Asia’ conference at the American University of Central Asia.

Dr Kuchumkulova will speak on: ‘Insider, Outsider, and Collaborative Ethnography’; Dr Shamatov on: ‘Improving Quality of Research and Publications in the Humanities and Social Sciences in Central Asia through the Introduction of Peer Review Mechanisms’; and Dr Gullette on 'Aspects of Anthropology's Role in Research on Conflict: Central Asia and Beyond'.
