Alisher has worked with various non-governmental organisations in Tajikistan. His professional background is in project planning and management, monitoring and evaluation, system development and information management with a special focus on natural resource management. While working with the Tajikistan Safe Drinking Water Project he was engaged in planning, monitoring and evaluation and for technical support activities of the project. Alisher has also served as a Project Analyst with United Nations Development Programme and the Disaster Risk Management Programme. Since 2013, he has been a freelance consultant with the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE) at the University of Bern.
