University of Central Asia's 2nd Annual Soccer Tournament

Kyrgyz Prime Minister Jantoro Satybaldiyev officially kicked off the finals of the University of Central Asia’s (UCA) 2nd Annual Football Tournament at its Naryn Main Campus on 31 August 2013. The tournament was part of the celebrations commemorating the Kyrgyz Independence Day. This is UCA’s second tournament following the official inauguration of its international standard sports facilities at last year’s Independence Day celebrations.

UCA's School of Professional and Continuing Education holds Academic Achievement Ceremony in Faizabad for Afghan learners
30 June 2013, Faizabad, Afghanistan - On 30 June 2013, University of Central Asia’s (UCA) School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) held an Academic Achievement Ceremony at the Kokcha Palace, Faizabad to recognise 18 Afghan instructors graduating from SPCE’s professional development programmes in English and Information Technology (IT). Seventeen Afghan scholarship recipients successfully completed professional courses were also recognised.

School of Professional and Continuing Education, Khorog 8th Navruz Graduation Ceremony
26 March 2013, Khorog, Tajikistan - The University of Central Asia’s School of Professional and Continuing Education (UCA-SPCE) held its eighth graduation ceremony on 26 March 2013 at the Khorog Theatre, Tajikistan. The ceremony celebrated the accomplishments of 200 SPCE graduates. The event also commemorated the holiday of Navruz, a festival with Persian cultural roots marking the arrival of spring, and included a cultural performance by the students from Qurbonsho Noyobshev Music School, Khorog.

University of Central Asia participated in Public Meeting with Naryn Community
06 March 2013, Naryn, Kyrgyz Republic - The University of Central Asia participated in a public meeting organised by the Naryn Mayor’s Office for the community on 6 March 2013. UCA Director General Dr Bohdan Krawchenko; and Grant Robertson, Director of Construction, presented its campus development plans, to approximately 200 people at the Naryn Youth Centre. Dr Krawchenko announced major building construction will begin in 2013, with UCA open for students in 2016. The session was followed by a discussion between UCA, the Oblast Administration, and the community.
