SPCE Launches English Training Programme for Journalists and Press Secretaries in Dushanbe

The University of Central Asia (UCA) is pleased to announce the launch of English Language Training Programme for journalists and press secretaries working in government and nongovernmental organisations in Tajikistan. The English for Journalism programme is offered by UCA's School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) in Dushanbe and covers the 2017/18 academic year. It is sponsored by the United States Embassy in Tajikistan.
Students studying journalism at higher educational institutions in Tajikistan are encouraged to apply. 
Selected candidates will be divided into four proficiency levels; Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, and Upper-intermediate, based on written and oral English placement tests. Applicants after registration will sit for placement test and be divided into groups according to their English proficiency level.

Classes will start on 25 October 2017 and continue until 31 June 2018.
