Indian Ambassador Visits UCA in Naryn

Her Excellency Savithri Lakshmanan, Indian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, and other embassy officials visited the University of Central Asia’s Naryn Campus and the School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) in Naryn on May 24th. They were welcomed by Dr Shamsh Kassim-Lakha, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of UCA and other senior faculty and staff. After a presentation and tour of the campus, they also visited SPCE, met the academic achievement programme students, were introduced to SPCE’s National Entrance Exam preparation (ORT) course, and watched a mental math demonstration by students. The delegation later visited the Seitaaly Jakypov Park, which was rehabilitated by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture in 2016, and the Aga Khan Medical and Diagnostic Centre in Naryn, where graduates of SPCE’s English for Health programme presented their work.

The Indian delegation visited the Seitaaly Jakypov Park in Naryn with UCA staff.
