German Ambassador Visits UCA’s Naryn Campus

Her Excellency Monika Iwersen, German Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, and other embassy officials visited the University of Central Asia’s Naryn Campus on May 18th. Dr Diana Pauna, Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at UCA, Nurbek Nisharapov, Campus Head of SPCE Naryn, Dr Salim Sumar, Head of UCA’s Cooperative Education Programmme, and Azamat Azarov, Research Fellow at UCA’s Mountain Societies Research Institute (MSRI) presented about UCA’s undergraduate and SPCE programmes, faculty research and development, MSRI’s research and training focus, and partnerships. 

Throughout the visit, the German delegation showed a keen interest to learn more about UCA, as well as its links with the local community and institutions. Concluding the visit, the Ambassador expressed interest in future cooperation with UCA.
