The University of Central Asia’s (UCA) School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) conducted an exposure visit for its Small & Medium Business Management (SMBM) programme students in Khorog to the “Zari Pomir” stones processing company, and “Shiri Kuhiston” dairy manufacturing company. The visits were organised to compliment the SMBM programme modules on cost calculation, production technology, and business strategy development.

At “Shiri Kuhiston”, students learnt about dairy production – starting from the delivery of raw materials and production process, to storage and distribution. “Shiri Kuhiston” manufactures 20 types of dairy products and serves the Khorog community.
