The external environment is rapidly changing and setting new objectives for the country in the 21st century. The successful achievement of such objectives is extremely important to consolidate the society, preserve national identity, and achieve broader progress. In 2016, the Republic of Tajikistan adopted the National Development Strategy up to 2030, which establishes three main principles for future development of the country including prevention, manufacturing and innovation.
In the long run, sustainable development of the country cannot be achieved without an introduction of innovations to all spheres of social and economic life. Therefore, strategic benchmarks for such development should take into account the growth in investments and economic activities in the region of Asia, and the role that is played in this growth by the countries of Central Asia and Tajikistan. This decade will bring with it a new technological, economic and political cycles in the international environment, which are characterised by decelerated growth rate of international economies, and will persist until the middle of the 21st century. We should be able to adequately respond to this process, and outline the future model of development.
