NTS TV: A Generation Without Borders

Date: 18 December 2019
“Preserve the environment, engage in sports, and understand the principles of building relationships in a multicultural world” – these are some areas of focus of the University of Central Asia, noted by NTS TV channel in a recent news report. Young UCA students are developing skills that will be useful not only for their future profession, but for their lives in general. They are creating interesting clubs that are creating a platform for discussion, but also for translating their ideas into action.

Watch this video to hear from Narimon on playing football in UCA’s state-of-the-art sports bubble, as well as from Emir Abaskanov and Kanykei Mairambekova speaking about the student-led Eco-warriors environment club that has collected over 250 kg of paper, 50 kg of cardboard and 30 kg of glass last year for recycling on campus. The club hopes to work with the Naryn municipality, and expand its recycling initiatives to all schools and public spaces in the Naryn town.
