Expert Assessment of the Impact of Afghan Confrontation on Political and Economic Situation in Central Asia

The study focused on attempts of Central Asian countries to minimize the negative impact of the Afghan factor on processes of state formation and to open a southern direction for trade and economic cooperation. Unfortunately, countries in the region have taken disparate initiatives to resolve the Afghan problem pursuing their national interests. However, only through collective and concerted efforts in political, economic, transport and communication, and energy fields you can change the current situation for the better.
