University of Central Asia begins “Trade and Regional Cooperation in Central Asia and Afghanistan for Economic Growth” training programme
The Institute of Public Policy and Administration, University of Central Asia, as part of its Canadian supported “Regional Cooperation and Confidence Building in Afghanistan and Central Asia” (RCCB) project began its training programme on trade and regional cooperation for 60 public servants from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic in Issyk-Kul, which will run from 25 August to 2 September 2012.

The University of Central Asia (UCA) launched its latest publication: Ancient Monuments of Tien-Shan in Bishkek on 5 March 2012. Based on 20 years of archeological research in the Naryn and Issyk Kul regions, the book presents evidence of the rich heritage of the area.
