Muslim Bandishoev graduated from the International Institute for Geo-information Science and Earth Observation (ITC), Netherlands and is specialized in application of Remote Sensing and GIS in agriculture, forestry, glaciology and climate change. He worked as intern with Environmental Systems Research Institute to study deforestation pattern in Amazon rainforest of Guyana. Muslim also worked for various NGOs in Central Asia, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India to apply GIS and Remote Sensing in hazard risk reduction and relief programmes.
