UCA’s SPCE in partnership with the Australian National Institute of Business and Technology (ANIBT) aims to launch online hospitality training, Diploma in Hospitality Management in Central Asia. This qualification will allow its participants to perform roles including managing a department in a large hospitality enterprise or managing a small hospitality enterprise. To facilitate and deliver training the Hospitality Instructor would be working at SPCE Khorog in close collaboration with the specialists of ANIBT. The Hospitality Instructor vacancy is a part-time position and does not require full-day engagement. The instructor reports to TVET Coordinator at SPCE Khorog and works closely with other staff members of UCA. Before starting to teach the instructors need to successfully complete one month training in Melbourne, Australia

Main Duties and Responsibilities

•    Teaching and facilitating Hospitality courses and programs of various levels.
•    Participating in developing proposals for the courses and programs.
•    Participating in the Training of Trainers for more than 1 month outside the place of origin.
•    Participating in marketing and promotion of SPCE courses and programs.
•    Submitting reporting documents (individual plans, examination registers, grade reports) on time.
•    Ensuring high attendance of students in classes, contacting students, and reacting to their needs.
•    Ensuring the safety of equipment and furniture in the classrooms and offices.
•    Performing other duties (extra-curricular activities, social media promotion campaigns, discussion clubs etc.).

Required Qualifications and Experience

•    Graduates with minimum bachelor’s degree.
•    Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
•    Highly motivated long-term players.
•    Higher emotional intelligence, and ability to deal with people constructively.
•    Ability to understand and share the philosophy of human capital development.
•    Knowledge of communication technologies in distance education.
•    Good command of the English language and ability to communicate effectively.
•    Having experience and education in or relevant to Hospitality is preferred. 

Language:

  •    Working knowledge of Tajik, Russian, and English
