Issam El Moughrabi laid the foundations of the M.B.A Program at Gulf University for Science and Technology, Kuwait, while serving as the Director of Graduate Studies and Research for several years. He is a Fulbright Scholar and did a post-doctoral research in Geographic Information Systems at Wyoming University, U.S A. His main research interests are in mathematical Optimization, Management Science and Information Retrieval and database systems. He serves as a referee for many well-known journals in his subjects of interest.
