School of Arts and Sciences

The School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) is one of three Schools of the University of Central Asia and is present at UCA’s residential campuses in Naryn, Kyrgyzstan, and Khorog, Tajikistan. 

SAS offers Bachelor's degree programmes in Computer Science, Communications and Media, Global Economics, and Earth & Environmental Sciences at its residential campuses in Khorog and Naryn.

As a residential, English-medium liberal arts School, SAS combines academic rigour with an immersive student experience, bringing together young people from across Central Asia and beyond.

The research-informed curriculum combines a liberal arts and sciences education, where students benefit from an outstanding faculty with a 1:9 faculty-to-student ratio.

UCA graduates have been admitted – several on full scholarships – to internationally recognised universities including Brown University, Oxford, Brown, Duke, the University of Michigan, University of Toronto, Simon Fraser University and the National University of Singapore.
