Shahriyor Mazabshoev earned a degree in Linguistics from Khorog State University and a Master's in Muslim Cultures from the Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilizations in London. He began his career in education as an English teacher at a public school in GBAO from 2007 to 2012. After completing the Khorog English Preparatory Programme, he became a Monitoring and Evaluation officer for the Reading for Children project (a joint project of AKF and USAID) at the Institute for Professional Development. Shahriyor later worked as a coordinator for the Postgraduate Preparatory Programme at SPCE until 2022 and has been serving as the Manager of Academic Affairs since August 2022.
