Dina Kaskina is an environmental scientist and educator with broad experience in higher education. She holds a B.Ed. in Geography (Karaganda State University, Kazakhstan), an M.Sc. in Environmental Science and Technology (Lancaster University, UK), and an M.A./M.Sc. in Water Cooperation and Diplomacy (University for Peace, UNESCO-IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, and Oregon State University).
Her research focuses on transboundary water governance and air quality in the Central Asian context. Before joining UCA, Dina was working as a Teaching Assistant for environmental track courses at the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, at Nazarbayev University (Kazakhstan). Dina currently teaches courses in Environmental Science and Policy at UCA.
