UCA Strengthens Parliamentary Expertise through Advanced Training on Data Analysis
Under a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Centre for Parliamentary Development and Democracy (CPDD) of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic, UCA’s School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) is conducting a series of specialised training sessions for parliamentary aides and consultants.
In a recent workshop, Dr Urmat Tynaliev, an expert from the Silk Road Research Centre at Ala-Too International University, guided participants through advanced techniques in data analysis. The training offered in-depth instruction on data collection, processing, and visualisation, enabling parliamentary staff to effectively utilise tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, and Tableau.
These sessions are part of a wider initiative aimed at enhancing the professional skills of Jogorku Kenesh personnel, equipping them to handle data-driven projects and provide members of the parliament with evidence-based insights to inform policy decisions.
