UCA’s Training Programme Elevates Professional Skills in Tajikistan’s Key Sectors
UCA’s School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, hosted a graduation ceremony for staff members from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Export Agency of the Republic of Tajikistan, following their completion of SPCE language and IT courses.
This initiative aimed to enhance the professional capabilities of Tajikistan’s agricultural and export sectors by providing staff with essential linguistic and IT skills. A total of 69 participants successfully completed training in Conversational English, Russian, and IT - skills expected to boost their productivity and effectiveness in daily tasks.
Congratulating the graduates, Mr Anvar Zaripov, Head of the HR and Legal Department at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, said: “We are grateful to UCA and GIZ for implementing this valuable project. As we collaborate with development partners and follow the decree of President Emomali Rahmon, strengthening English proficiency among public office holders is a critical priority. This capacity-building programme has significantly improved our capabilities.”
The programme was delivered in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), with financial support from the European Union in Tajikistan and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
