Day Three -- Saturday -- 21 September 2024
Location: UCA Campus Dining Hall
Location: UCA Campus Creative Studio
Speakers: Lucy Palmer, Chris Long, Lé Lé and Mark Tredinnick
This immersive audio visual and interactive creative session will take participants on a journey through new dimensions of the sky and its place in our everyday lives. We will be focussing on the work of two artists. Chris Long is a US painter who describes himself as a nomadic sky watcher who’s spent decades capturing the essence of its impact on his life as an artist and a human being. The other artist is Lé Lé, a young rap poet, performance artist and singer based in East London, whose unique work is grounded in the human experience of the infinite and universal. During this two-hour session, participants will be collaborating on a “super poem” in response to this unique experience in the Creative Studio.
