Qamargul Esoeva is the University Counsellor based at UCA's Khorog campus. She completed her MED in Global Mental Health and Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto's Ontario Institute for International Education in Canada. For several years, she worked as UCA’s Student Recruiter in Tajikistan. Prior to joining UCA, she worked at the University of Texas, USA.
She has received numerous awards including the Teaching Excellence Achievement Programme Award from the International Research and Exchanges Board (IREX) in Washington, D.C., and a Fulbright Assistantship in the Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Programme at the University of Texas. She also holds a Diploma in Teaching English and German Languages from Khorog State University, Tajikistan, and a Master of Arts in English from Pune University, India.
