Saule Chalbasova is a Research Associate at the Institute of Public Policy and Administration, Graduate School of Development, UCA. She holds a Master degree in International Law and Economics from the World Trade Institute, University of Bern and a Bachelor degree in Economics from the American University of Central Asia.
Saule Chalbasova has more than five years of experience in socio-economic research in Central Asia and has been engaged in various projects, including Countdown to 2030 Tajikistan, ‘Life in Kyrgyzstan’, Informal economic activities in the textile and apparel cluster in Bishkek, and others. Her research interests include development economics, international trade and agriculture.
