UCA’s Networking Event in Khorog Inspires Students and Alumni

University of Central Asia
24 December 2024

The Networking Event, organised by UCA’s Co-operative Education Programme at the University’s School of Arts and Sciences campus in Khorog, brought together students, alumni, faculty, staff, and representatives from nearly 20 organisations, including agencies of the Aga Khan Development Network, the National Bank of Tajikistan, and the UN World Food Programme.

This event provided an exceptional platform for students to engage with industry leaders, explore career opportunities, and gain valuable insights into professional pathways.

UCA alumni shared their post-graduation experiences and participated in two engaging panel discussions. The first, "Building a Growth Mindset – Thriving in a Rapidly Changing World," featured contributions from UCA faculty and professionals. The second, "Navigating Career Paths – From University to Professional Life," offered strategies for career transitions.

Additionally, the Alumni Pizza Talk delivered practical sessions on LinkedIn profile development, job application strategies, and interview preparation. These sessions were led by a group of accomplished UCA alumni, equipping students with essential tools for their professional journeys.
