10 June 2025

The University of Central Asia’s (UCA) Osh Continuing Education Centre (CEC), in collaboration with Osh State University (OSU), proudly celebrated the graduation of 99 learners from its Conversational English and Excel Spreadsheets programmes. Graduates included OSU lecturers, students, administrative staff, and professionals from institutions across Osh city.

This graduation ceremony marked a significant milestone in the UCA–OSU partnership, which began with the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation in May 2024. Since its launch, the Osh CEC has delivered high-impact learning experiences to 531 individuals within just 12 months.

To honour UCA’s contributions, OSU awarded letters of appreciation to senior staff from the School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE).

A highlight of the event was a dynamic STEAM exhibition presented by students from the SPCE Osh Access Programme. Their creative projects and personal stories showcased the power of innovation and experiential learning.

The ceremony was attended by esteemed guests, including OSU’s leadership and senior representatives from the Osh City Education Department and Osh International Medical University.

This milestone reinforces UCA’s unwavering commitment to broadening access to quality professional and continuing education and exemplifies the transformative potential of strategic, cross-institutional partnerships in the region.
