Parviz Shomirzoev is an accomplished leader with over 15 years of experience in international non-profit organizations, specializing in finance, grants management, human resources, and operations. He joined the University of Central Asia (UCA) in July 2024.
Prior to joining UCA, Parviz served as a Senior Adviser at the OSCE Secretariat in Austria, where he played a key role in enhancing coordination and streamlining business processes for Extra-Budgetary Projects. Previously, as the Regional CFO/COO for Aga Khan Education Services in Central Asia, he spearheaded strategic initiatives, strengthened compliance, and successfully managed transformation processes in the finance and operations departments. His tenure at Save the Children International saw him undertake various leadership roles across multiple countries, including Finance Lead in the United Kingdom and Head of Finance, HR, and Operations in Ukraine and Central Asia.
Parviz holds an Executive MBA from IE Business School in Spain and an MA in World Economy from Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) in Kyrgyzstan.
