Prior to joining UCA, Alina served as Vice Dean for Educational Work in the Department of International Relations at Osh State University (OSU).

Alina holds an MA in Political Science from OSU and is currently pursuing a PhD in the same field at the Institute for Regional and Humanities Studies, National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
