Anel Kulakhmetova is s a Research Fellow, Communications Lead for Graduate School of Development. Prior to joining UCA, Anel worked as a national consultant on child protection and child rights with UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF Kazakhstan). From 2014, she has been teaching classes on International Development along with Academic research and Writing at the OSCE Academy in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic), Narxoz University (Kazakhstan) and Suleyman Demirel University (Kazakhstan).
Anel has graduated with MA in International Development from Josef Korbel School of International Relations, University of Denver. She has defended her PhD at the Centre of Development Studies, University of Cambridge.
