Dr Sam Goundar is an International Academic having taught at thirteen different universities in eleven different countries with over 35 plus years of teaching experience in universities and tertiary institutions. He is also a Visiting Professor of Data Science at SRM University, Chennai, India, an Adjunct Research Professor of Computer Science at the Fiji National University, and an Adjunct Professor of Artificial Intelligence at Mohan Babu University, Tirupati, India. He is a former Adjunct Professor of Information Technology (2021-2023) at The University of Fiji and former Affiliate Professor of Information Technology (2016-2020) at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Lima, Peru. He was a Senior Lecturer in IT at RMIT University, Senior Lecturer in ICT at British University Vietnam, Senior Lecturer in IS at The University of the South Pacific, Suva, Fiji, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and University of Waikato, New Zealand. He was also a Research Fellow at the United Nations University. He was invited as a Visiting Professor and Researcher at Hassan 1st University, Morocco (June-July 2019) and Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia (June-July 2018).

He is the Editor-in-Chief of 1). International Journal of Blockchains and Cryptocurrencies (IJBC), 2). International Journal of Fog Computing (IJFC), 3 International Journal of Creative Computing (IJCrC), and 4). International Journal of Advanced Intelligent Systems and Engineering Science (IJAIASES).

He is also the Editor-in-Chief (Emeritus) of the International Journal of Cloud Applications and Computing (IJCAC)
