Moik Alisher is the University Counsellor based at the UCA’s Naryn Campus. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology from the American University of Central Asia.
She has provided psychological support for relatives of missing persons, families of patients with neurodegenerative disorders, parents of children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) as well as staff and students of various organizations and institutions in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. She has worked at the International Committee of Red Cross functioned as a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Field Officer in GBAO region of Tajikistan for three years.
Besides providing individual and group therapies, she has been actively involved in mental health awareness building through conducting trainings and workshops.
