ORCIDNargis Kuchakshoeva is a research fellow at the UCA’s Civil Society Initiative Program at the Graduate School of Development. Under the Research, Evaluation, and Policy Analysis for Gender Equality (REPAGE) project of CSI, Nargis is conducting research in the fields of civil society, gender studies, and climate action. She is also engaged in developing training modules as well as monitoring evaluation activities of different CSI, GSD projects. She holds a double master’s degree in the fields of education (MA) and teaching (MTeach) from the Institute of Education, University College London, UK.
Before joining UCA, she worked in different organizations, including Aga Khan Education Service (AKES), the World Education Fund, and PO “Qobiliyat, where she acted as a co-founder of the organization and director of education projects. Her previous research activities mainly focused on education improvement and female empowerment through education and entrepreneurship in rural areas.
