Rustam Mirzoshirinov is UCA’s Khorog Campus Librarian. Previously, he served as UCA’s Patron and Reference Services Librarian at the Naryn Campus.
Prior to joining UCA, Mirzoshirinov interned at the Social Sciences Department of the Library of Congress in Washington D.C., United States. He has also managed the Aga Khan Humanities Project (AKHP) Information Resource Centre for several years and was privileged to receive the acclaimed Edmund Muskie Scholarship to study Library and Information Science at the Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, United States. Upon completion, Mirzoshirinov joined the US Embassy in Dushanbe, Tajikistan as Information Resource Centre Director. He has also served as an Advisor for American Corners and its branches in Tajikistan at the US Embassy in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Mirzoshirinov holds a Bachelor degree in Oriental Studies from Khorog State University in Khorog, Tajikistan.
