UCA Graduation Regalia

Diploma Brochure 2025

In 2024, UCA launched its inaugural Senior Class Giving Campaign - a student-led initiative that invited final-year students at the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) to support the institution that shaped their academic journeys. The inaugural campaign raised USD 1,167 with contributions from 86 donors, including 57 alumni and students. This Campaign stems from the graduates’ belief that their success and achievements are a result of the formative experiences they had at UCA - and are driven to extend the same opportunities to others. The Campaign was steered by an Executive Committee on both campuses. Comprised of 14 senior students, these committees played a central role in shaping the campaign, coordinating activities, and fostering a sense of ownership. Their engagement with faculty, staff, and alumni was instrumental in ensuring the campaign’s growing success and sustainability.
The Campaign was formally recognised during the annual SAS Students Awards Night by UCA Board of Trustees who commended the campaign as a significant milestone in cultivating a culture of philanthropy among students and young alumni.
Inspired by this momentum of the Class of 2024, the Class of 2025 embraced the campaign with enthusiasm, surpassing the previous year’s total. As of now, the Class of 2025 has raised USD 2,187, with the campaign concluding on 20 June.
This campaign wasn't just about giving back—it’s about moving forward together. Every gift helps open a door for someone else, just like one was opened for me
Rustam Pallaev, Class of 2024 and member, Executive Committee that steered this Campaign.
UCA has been a home and has given us so much. Contributing back through this initiative feels like a meaningful way to say thank you and leave a lasting legacy for the next generation. It’s not just a gift; it’s a message to our future students that you belong here, and you’re supported
Faryal Nayab, Class of 2025.
I didn’t expect the Class Gift Campaign to be so emotional, but it truly was. It made me appreciate the journey we’ve all had together and gave us a chance to give something meaningful back to the place that shaped us
Najiba Maqbulshoeva, Class of 2025.
All proceeds from the campaign are directed toward supporting scholarships for incoming deserving students, helping to ensure that promising young learners can access a UCA education regardless of financial circumstance. At the Naryn and Khorog campuses, the campaign used a variety of creative and meaningful initiatives:
• A community-led Zharamazan event during Ramadan, supported by faculty.
• A student-organised garage sale, thrift shop and a Valentine’s Day photo booth.
• A traditional shirchoy night, a gathering where students came together to enjoy shirchoy (milk tea).
• Awareness activities during major events such as the UCA Co-Op Networking Event, UCA Bazaar, and UCA Diversity Week.
• A designated corner set up by students to collect donations in support of the campaign.
• Student donations from income earned interning at various UCA projects.
Together, UCA graduates are building more than just a tradition of giving back. They are shaping a future of shared success, empowered communities, and enduring impact.
UCA has given us so much, education, opportunity, and a community that shaped who we are. The Class of 2025 see this campaign as our chance to give back. By supporting scholarships, we’re opening doors for future students just like others once opened them for us.
Nafisa Khudonazarova, Class of 2025.
