How SPCE Helped a Dedicated Doctor Rise to Leadership

Meet Shafiqullah Hamdard, a graduate of UCA SPCE’s Faizabad Learning Centre (FLC) and a doctor at the Shaheed Ustad Burhanuddin Rabbani provincial hospital, for whom language proficiency became a key factor in his career development.

In 2022, while serving as a doctor, Shafiqullah began his education at SPCE’s Faizabad Learning Centre, aiming to improve his English language skills. Despite an incredibly demanding work schedule, he remained committed to his studies, advancing from the starter level to the upper-intermediate level by June 2024. The newly acquired English skills helped Shafiqullah Hamdard to stand out among his colleagues, and he was promoted from the position of chief physician to the head of the provincial hospital.

Reflecting on his experience and SPCE’s impact on his achievement, Shafiqullah Hamdard mentions:

Moreover, with the acquired language skills I now have access to more medical research and can study from primary sources, contributing more effectively to my community.”
