Humanities in English

In 2003, the Aga Khan Humanities Project (AKHP) launched Humanities in English (HiE) programme. It is the only English language programme in the region, which include modules on academic reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The programme aims at improving the critical thinking, public speaking, research, writing, linguistics, problem-solving, scenario building, and leadership skills of the participants. The programme is offered to high school, undergraduates and postgraduate students. By spring 2020, 1,940 students successfully completed the HiE courses.
