"DIGITAL CASA" - Digital literacy project
University of Central Asia in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Development is organizing a series of trainings for civil servants under the "DIGITAL CASA-Kyrgyz Republic" project. The aim of the project is to develop digital literacy among civil servants in Kyrgyz Republic and provide free training to 1500 civil servants, of whom 50% are women.
The trainings cover a range of topics including Microsoft Office, data analysis, principles of digitalization, management of IT projects, cybersecurity, data privacy, and artificial intelligence. The trainings are set to be launched in April 2023, and will be delivered in a hybrid mode to civil servants from Bishkek, Chuy and Naryn regions, as well as Djalal Abad, and Issyk-kul regions.
In addition, the team is planning to organize an IT Forum in the summer of 2023, which will bring together up to 300 civil servants who have successfully completed the trainings, as well as international and local experts in the IT sphere. The forum aims to provide a platform for civil servants to share their experiences and best practices and learn from experts in the field.
The overall implementation of the "DIGITAL CASA-Kyrgyz Republic" project is overseen by the Institute of Public Policy and Administration (IPPA). We believe that this project will not only improve the digital literacy of civil servants but also contribute to the digital transformation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
