UCA Alumni Gather in Dushanbe for Networking Evening
The University of Central Asia’s Co-operative Education Programme, in collaboration with the UCA Alumni Association, hosted an Alumni Networking Evening in Dushanbe, bringing together graduates of the UCA School of Arts and Sciences.
Throughout the evening, participants exchanged ideas on mentorship, professional development, and future initiatives that could deepen alumni involvement in university life. Discussions also highlighted the importance of maintaining strong connections among graduates and creating opportunities for collaboration across different sectors and countries.
The event reflected the ongoing efforts of the UCA Alumni Association and UCA to foster a vibrant and connected alumni network.
"The Alumni Association, with the support of UCA, is committed to strengthening lifelong connections among alumni by fostering a vibrant community and providing a platform for meaningful dialogue on how alumni and the University can continue to grow and thrive together. This event was a great example of that collaboration, and we look forward to creating more opportunities for engagement in the future," said Rukhmina Naghzibekova, President of the SAS Alumni Association.
Alumni also discussed ways to strengthen communication across the network, particularly through social media and alumni-focused storytelling that highlights graduates’ achievements, experiences, and contributions to their communities.
Reflecting on the evening, alumni shared: "It was wonderful to reconnect with old friends, hear about their career journeys, and see how our alumni community continues to grow and make an impact. Events like this remind us that the connections we built at UCA extend far beyond graduation. I am grateful to UCA for continuing to bring us together and creating opportunities to stay connected" , Alumna of C&M, 2023.
The networking evening demonstrated the strong commitment of SAS alumni to remain engaged with the University and one another. Through mentorship, volunteerism, fundraising, and professional engagement, UCA graduates continue to play an important role in supporting student success and strengthening the University's community across Central Asia and beyond.
