SAS Faculty and Alum Present Paper at UAE Conference
Dr Muhammad Fayaz, Computer Science faculty at UCA's School of Arts and Sciences (SAS), presented a research paper at an International Conference on Electrical and Computing Technologies and Applications (ICECTA) in U.A.E. Entitled "A Cohesive Machine Learning-Based Model for Energy Consumption Prediction in Smart Homes", the paper was co-authored by
Sarvinoz Toshpulotova, who graduated in 2022 from SAS with a degree in Computer Science.
The research is based on Sarvinoz's undergraduate dissertation on the issue of energy, which despite being a costly resource remains in demand, but with technological advancements can be utilized in a much more effective manner.
The paper has been accepted for publication and will soon be available at IEEE Xplore, a renowned digital library.
