UCA Hosts Alumni Reunions

UCA’s School of Arts and Sciences recently hosted its annual alumni reunions in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and Dushanbe, Tajikistan reinforcing its commitment to fostering a vibrant and engaged alumni community. These events brought together alumni, current students, and industry leaders to network, exchange knowledge, and strengthen ties with their alma mater. The reunions featured plenary sessions led by prominent entrepreneurs, representatives of accelerators, and experts from the creative industries. The discussions focused on enhancing entrepreneurial and soft skills while providing insights into navigating today’s evolving professional landscape.

Attendees also had the chance to network with representatives from over 20 renowned companies. Among them were Accelerate Prosperity, a global initiative of the Aga Khan Development Network promoting business growth in Central and South Asia; BGlobal Ltd, Kyrgyzstan’s pioneer in innovative business tours and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events; and Jolbors Creative Communications Festival, Central Asia's leading creative communications festival. Other notable participants included Novotel; Yandex, the Russian technology giant; and EPAM, an American software engineering firm. These opportunities provided alumni and students with valuable career pathways and the potential to build meaningful professional connections, further strengthening UCA’s role as a hub for learning, collaboration, and innovation in the region.
