UCA Staff Recognised for Contributions to Public Service in the Kyrgyz Republic
On 26 August, the Rector of the University of Central Asia and three UCA staff members were recognised by the State Agency for Civil Service and Local Self-Government Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic for their professionalism, initiative, active participation and significant contributions to the development of the civil service of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Professor Christopher J. Gerry, Rector of the University of Central Asia, was awarded the “Excellence in Public Service of the Kyrgyz Republic”, the highest state recognition awarded in this category, for his high professionalism and qualifications, conscientious and high-quality performance of official duties, initiative and active participation, and significant contribution to the development of the civil service of the Kyrgyz Republic.
