UCA Celebrates SPCE Excellence Award 2025 Winners
The School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) of the University of Central Asia (UCA) celebrated the achievements of its staff and instructors at the SPCE Excellence Award 2025 Ceremony.
This year’s competition featured 48 nominees from 18 SPCE locations across Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Afghanistan, with winners selected across seven award categories through a rigorous evaluation process.
Best Service Support
The Best Service Support award honoured staff whose work ensures safe, well-maintained and smoothly functioning learning environments. The 2025 winners were:
- Aizada Mambet kyzy, Cleaner, SPCE Naryn, Kyrgyzstan;
- Muhammadjon Goibnazarov, Administrative Assistant, Learning Centre Bokhtar, Tajikistan;
- Faizullo Abdullozoda, Maintenance Person, Learning Centre Kulob, Tajikistan.
Best Student Service
Recognising frontline staff who deliver high-quality support to students and alumni, the Best Student Service award was presented to:
- Shirin Bolotbekova, Student Service Officer, Learning Centre Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan;
- Abdusamad Sheravzalzoda, Student Service Officer, Learning Centre Kulob, Tajikistan;
- Viktoriya Litvinenko, Librarian/SMM, SPCE Tekeli, Kazakhstan.
Best Instructor
The Best Instructor category celebrated teaching excellence across disciplines and delivery formats. The 2025 awardees were:
- Kseniia Maiatskaia, English Language Instructor, Learning Centre Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan;
- Val Thomas Eubanks, English Language and Math Instructor, SPCE Naryn, Kyrgyzstan;
- Shoista Khayolbekova, English Language Instructor, SPCE Khorog, Tajikistan;
- Niamatullah Rezaie, IT Instructor, Learning Centre Kabul, Afghanistan;
- Najiba Nazari, Mental Math Instructor, Learning Centre Ishkashim, SPCE Afghanistan;
- Habibullah Shewa, IT Instructor, Learning Centre Shughnan, SPCE Afghanistan.
Digital Teacher
The Digital Teacher award recognised instructors leading SPCE’s digital learning transformation. This year’s winners were:
- Elmira Zhumash kyzy, English Language Instructor, SPCE Naryn, Kyrgyzstan,
- Asliya Ghulomrasulova, English Language Instructor, SPCE Khorog, Tajikistan.
Best Manager and Best Coordinator
The Best Manager / Best Coordinator awards were presented to:
- Samarat Mambetazhieva, Outreach Activities Manager, Kyrgyzstan;
- Kazybek Kuikeev, Administrative Manager, SPCE Naryn, Kyrgyzstan;
- Khanjarbek Lochinov, Coordinator, Satellite Learning Centre Dushanbe (Guliston), Tajikistan
Best Centre
The Best Centre award acknowledged collective excellence at the institutional level. The 2025 winners were:
- The Satellite Learning Centre, Dushanbe (Guliston), Tajikistan;
- Learning Centre, Bokhtar, Tajikistan.
Digital Breakthrough Centre
The Digital Breakthrough Centre award was presented to the Learning Centre, Kabul, Afghanistan, recognising its leadership in digitalisation, online delivery, and scale through platforms such as Moodle and Coursera.
The ceremony concluded with congratulations from SPCE leadership and UCA senior management, reaffirming SPCE’s commitment to recognising excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across its network.
