UCA Hosts Celebration of Pushkin's Legacy in Khorog
A delegation from the Alexander Solzhenitsyn House of the Russian Abroad and the Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language visited UCA's Khorog Campus on 24 April. They were accompanied by Mr Igor Burulko, a senior diplomat from the Russian Embassy in Tajikistan and a representative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
During the visit, the delegation generously donated a collection of around 300 books to the UCA library. These included fiction, history, art, and dictionaries, all in Russian. The visit also featured an exhibition on the life and works of Alexander Pushkin, followed by presentations and a public lecture about his poetic legacy. UCA students and staff actively participated in the event, reciting Pushkin's poetry and presenting a sketch inspired by his work, adding a lively touch to the occasion.
