High-Level Swiss Delegation Visits UCA’s Khorog Campus

UCA recently welcomed a high-level delegation from the Swiss Economic Cooperation Office (SECO) to its campus in Khorog, Tajikistan. The delegation was led by Ms Salome Steib, SECO Country Director in Tajikistan, and Mr Silvio Giround, Programme Manager of Infrastructure Financing at SECO.

During the visit, the delegation had a virtual meeting with UCA leadership to discuss various ideas and potential projects aimed at fostering the socio-economic development of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast. The discussions focused on key areas including Smart City initiatives, digitalisation, tackling unemployment through job creation, and capacity building for local communities.
